Husband-and-wife real estate agents Dean and Vicky Hanquist, affiliated with Coldwell Banker Realty’s San Jose–Willow Glen office, are guided by a Servant-Leadership mission. Living in their neighborhood for 22 years, Vicky and Dean bring deep local insight to help clients—from first-time buyers to downsizing retirees—find the right home. Vicky, fluent in English and Tagalog, was raised in San Jose and understands the city’s schools, neighborhoods, and amenities. Coming from a family of residential investors, she and Dean are also experienced investors themselves.

With a background in architectural interior design, Vicky offers expert staging tips and helps clients visualize a home's potential. Her pricing strategies and market analysis consistently deliver results. Dean, with degrees in Mechanical Engineering and certifications as a PMP and PE, brings strong project management skills. He ensures a smooth transaction process, using his analytical approach to stay on schedule and on budget. Together, they offer clients a complementary skill set and comprehensive service.

As real estate partners, Vicky and Dean focus on building trust, listening well, and serving clients with integrity. Their personalities balance one another—Vicky is energetic, talkative, and future-focused, while Dean is a calm and analytical problem solver known for his sense of humor.

Vicky earned her BFA in Visual Arts from UC Berkeley and served as a missionary in the Philippines after graduation. Dean holds engineering degrees from Cal Poly SLO and San Jose State. Both are involved in their church’s outreach programs and support causes like the International Justice Mission and City Team Ministry.

In their free time, Vicky enjoys hiking, painting, writing poetry, and playing music, while Dean plays piano, swims, bikes, and bakes pies that often fetch top bids at silent auctions.
